The absolute biggest consumer robotics + AI win will be making The Laundry Machine: You give it dirty clothes in a hamper, you get washed, dried, and folded clothes put into the right drawers. You never do anything with clothes but use them again. Maybe “the laundry room” and “the dresser” have to become something new. Maybe the clothes it handles are never that nice (no ironing or pressing, no dry cleaning, nothing bulky, just ‘wash and fold’). But people buy hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of cars, refrigerators, and washer dryer setups already. They will absolutely buy this. Everything else can wait.
